Haven't been here in more than 10 years after moving away, came to visit and found the quality of food always sustaining the best quality homemade recipes no matter dine in or take it to go. Matter of fact, the breads and sweets don't stay on the shelf very long every day.
This place is so good. I do believe the food here has a touch of God in it. Baked goods are phenomenal, and the fried catfish is off the chain. If you are ever in Livingston, Alabama, you must try.
It is all good and reasonably priced. I can not resist the cinnamon rolls. Their coffee is great.
I had not been here since I was in college at UWA More than a decade ago but it was still just as good as I remember. The staff are friendly and all of the food was absolutely delicious. The rolls are probably some of the best I have ever had. Plenty of places to sit. If I lived closer I'd go every week.
Love the food here, the prices are not too jacked for what you get. Service is ok from time to time, it depends on who the cashier is and the people taking orders.
This is a nice spot in Livingston to grab lunch or take a break. The cinnamon roll was Devine! Definitely request that they warm it. A lovely place for scratch made pastries. The catfish, green bean and baked beans were also very tasty. We will definitely be back!
Everything we travel from Washington DC to visit family in Mississippi, we make a point to stop here. The food is very reasonably priced, but more importantly, super tasty great and excellent portions. The desserts are incredibly excellent too. If this place was in Washington, there would be a line a few blocks long. Great job!!!
5 to Catfish Friday!! Can't brag enough on staff and food. The lady y'all waited on in front of me I know drove u nuts, but y'all had patience with her. The food was outstanding, catfish was amazing. Hush puppies were to die for! Everything was 5!
This was our first time here as we were traveling back home and we are happy we stop by. The food was amazing good. Cute place and friendly staff. Delicious looking pastries. This is a must the line moves quickly but the do stay crowded its worth checking it out.
Found this gem in Livingston! Hot lunch bar that have different options Monday-Friday. Today was catfish and slow roasted roast beef. Green beans, real mashed potatoes, cole slaw, baked beans and salad. Many options for dessert for just a little over $2! The chipped roast beef was tender and seasoned wonderfully with a small amount of brown gravy. Mashed potatoes are creamy and real potatoes! With brown gravy. Green beans had seasoned meat and served with a soft, fresh roll. I really enjoyed the fried Large portions. Hot fresh and they keep the line moving. Very busy hot spot for lunch! Also offer breakfast which we've not tried yet but am anxious to! Service is pleasant. Not a lot of seating for the amount of customers but we were able to get a table quickly. Drive thru and order ahead options as well.
